Chinkapin Oak (Quercus muhlenbergii)

$5.99

A member of the white oak group, but tolerant of alkaline soils makes the Chinkapin Oak a great option for poor growing sites.  They prefer full sunlight and naturally occur in limestone and calcareous soils where deciduous and pine mixed forests are common.  Acorns tend to be softer and desired by a variety of wildlife.
