Sawtooth Oak “Gobbler” (Quercus accutisima)

$5.99

The sawtooth “gobbler” is given its name based on the smaller, softer sawtooth oak acorns they produce that are more widely consumed by turkeys and other upland birds compared to the regular sized acorns produced from normal sawtooth oaks.  Sawtooth oaks are known for their early life mast production which begins as early as 3-4 years old.  They produce heavy acorn crops regularly each year and drop earlier than other oak species.  Plant several in groves for an early season deer hunting hot spot.

1 year old seedlings that are approximately 6-12″ tall.
